# Selvedge & Ferry
Bespoke tailoring in Hong Kong, with fittings on our travels. Four garments, a sample 2027 trunk-show calendar for four cities, and a commission planner that shows which visits a garment needs.

## The business
Bespoke tailoring: two-piece suits, jackets, shirts and overcoats cut from an individual paper pattern, with measuring and fittings in person.
For: People who want one well-fitted garment and can attend the fittings it needs, in Hong Kong or at a trunk show in London, New York, Sydney or Singapore.
Where: Fictional atelier on a real street: 8th floor, Hankow Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. MTR Tsim Sha Tsui, Exit C2. Open Monday to Friday 10:00 to 18:30 and Saturday 10:00 to 17:00, by appointment; closed 6 to 10 February 2027. Trunk shows: four two-day visits a year to each of London, New York, Sydney and Singapore, 10:00 to 18:00 local time, in a sample private fitting room.
Illustrative assumption: a two-piece suit in house cloth is HK$18,000 to HK$22,000; Refined cloth is 1.25 times and Special 1.5 times these figures (as of 2026-10-12).
Illustrative assumption: a jacket in house cloth is HK$12,000 to HK$15,000 (as of 2026-10-12).
Illustrative assumption: a shirt in house cloth is HK$1,800 to HK$2,800 (as of 2026-10-12).
Illustrative assumption: an overcoat in house cloth is HK$20,000 to HK$26,000, with less evidence behind it than the other ranges (as of 2026-10-12).
Illustrative assumption: an optional, refundable HK$1,000 appointment-request deposit is offered only for a complete trunk-show plan, only after a free request and never instead of one (as of 2026-10-12).
Measure in person, then a baste fitting about two weeks later and a forward fitting about two weeks after that; a suit is ready around day 42. A shirt needs one trial fitting and about four weeks; an overcoat about seven weeks. Later fittings need later visits, in Hong Kong or on later trunk shows to the same city. Collection is in Hong Kong, or shipping after the last fitting with delivery charges and duties quoted separately. A written quotation fixes cloth and details before cutting.

## The tool
The commission planner checks whether your Hong Kong dates or a sample trunk-show visit can hold the fittings a garment needs, and shows an illustrative price range and the dated stages. It is an outline for a fitting request, never a quotation, reservation or guarantee.
Needs: Garment: two-piece suit, jacket, shirt or overcoat; Cloth selection: House, Refined or Special; Cloth weight in grams per metre within the garment's range: suit and jacket 180 to 380 in steps of 10, shirt 100 to 180 in steps of 10, overcoat 400 to 650 in steps of 25; Hong Kong arrival and departure dates in the sample 2027 calendar, or one sample trunk-show visit; Fittings you can attend after measuring: 0, 1 or 2; Collect in Hong Kong or ship after the last fitting; An optional needed-by date.
