Two-piece suit

A cobalt suit jacket hangs in soft daylight, showing its lapel and chest pocket.
Illustrative, AI-generated

A jacket and trousers cut from your own paper pattern, planned around the weeks you will wear them.

We start with where the suit will go: a courtroom in London, a humid commute in Hong Kong, a wedding in Sydney. That conversation sets the cloth, the shape and the number of visits before any cloth is cut.

Who it is for

For anyone who wants one suit that fits properly and lasts: lawyers, bankers and founders who work between cities, grooms with a date, and clients replacing a suit they have outgrown. You need time for three visits, in Hong Kong or on our tours.

Included

  • In-person measuring and your own paper pattern
  • House cloth selection, or Refined or Special at a higher band
  • Measuring, then two fittings: baste and forward
  • Ordinary design details, finishing and a final check
  • Collection in Hong Kong

Quoted separately

  • A waistcoat or a second pair of trousers
  • Unusual design work
  • Extra fittings beyond the plan
  • Overseas delivery, destination taxes and duties

The price basis

One garment in one cloth band. Weight changes the drape, not the price. The written quotation fixes the cloth and details before cutting.

How the job runs

  1. Day 0MeasureWe talk through where you will wear it, measure you and handle the cloth together.
  2. Day 14Baste fittingThe two-piece suit is loosely tacked together so the cutter can see the balance and mark changes.
  3. Day 28Forward fittingCloser to finished. We check the details, the length and the way it moves.
  4. Day 42ReadyA final check, then you collect it in Hong Kong or we ship it after the last fitting.

Counted from measuring and moved to the next open workshop day. Extra adjustments can add visits and time.

5.0 from 2 suit reviews

5 out of 5 stars

Evan told me at the first London visit that the suit would need two more trips. It did, and the forward fitting fixed a shoulder I had stopped noticing on every other jacket I own.

I fitted both visits into lunch breaks. Adrian had the baste jacket ready when I walked in, and we were done in forty minutes.

Questions about the two-piece suit

Can I complete a suit in a ten-day visit?

A ten-day visit covers measuring. The baste and forward fittings fall about two and four weeks later, so they need another visit. Send your dates and we would discuss a return visit before agreeing the work.

How many fittings does a suit need?

Two after measuring: a baste fitting about two weeks in and a forward fitting about two weeks after that. The suit is ready around day 42.

Which cloth weight works for Hong Kong and London?

Many clients choose 220 to 280 g/m for a suit worn in both cities. Weight is one factor; weave and lining matter too, and we compare cloths together at measuring.

Can you ship the finished suit?

Yes, once every required fitting is done. Delivery charges, destination taxes and duties are quoted separately. Shipping never replaces a fitting.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

No. A free request is always available. After a free request for a sample trunk-show visit, you can choose an optional, fully refundable HK$1,000 appointment-request deposit. In this demo it is simulated.
